At a recent trade fair, Chinese military officials demonstrated a variety of drones and other aerial vehicles. These include the CH-805 training drone, the concept CK-20 stealth target drone, and the SW-6 small "marsupial" drone. Both drones can be used for reconnaissance purposes. SW-6 is also being considered as a prime candidate in the China drone "swarm," which involves hundreds connected small drones.

Caihong drones debut

Chinese military officials deployed eight Wing Loong 2 medium-altitude, long-endurance drones to a mixed military/civilian airport in western China recently. This deployment is the first major Chinese drone deployment. The drones are similar to the U.S. MQ-9 Reaper and are considered potential future military assets. Here's a closer look at the Caihong 5.

China and Islamic states have enjoyed a long-standing friendship and have achieved mutual success. They have created a new model of peaceful coexistence between different cultures through their cooperation. Chinese Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation opened the first Middle East-based factory for state-owned drones. The factory will manufacture the CH-4, CH-5 drones as well as associated equipment. This will increase after-sales services for the Middle East.

Yilong/Wing Loong LE380 sensor turbine

In October 2007, the Wing Loong I flew its maiden flight. It was the first Wing Loong variant. The device can carry up to four kilograms of payload, and is capable of reaching a speed of 200 km. The device's sensors and payload can be easily seen and targeted with a sensor turret under the nose.

The Wing Loong can be equipped with a camera as well as a sensor turbine. The Wing Loong can fly at speeds of up 280km/h due to its wing-shaped structure and three-bladed propeller. It can also fly up to five kilometers at maximum altitude. The Yilong can carry out its mission for 20 hours, without needing to refuel. The Yilong can transmit data from 200km away. It has a 600m take-off roll distance and an 800m landing roll distance.

Chinese companies have been developing these drones for several years now. Their latest version, the Wing Loong, is the first in a new family. The Wing Loong 1 can carry 200 kg and has a top speed 200 km/h. The drones also use the Yilong/Wing Loong LE380 sensor to monitor their surroundings. The drones are also capable of carrying weapons.
