How To

How can I clean my drone?

Before cleaning your drone, here are some tips. If you want to make sure you get every last bit out of your drone, then read this guide!

  1. Make sure you have the right tools. Make sure that you have all the tools you need before you begin anything. A toothbrush or soft brush is necessary, as well as a cleaning solution (we recommend the use of WD40).
  2. Disconnect the battery pack. First, remove the battery pack from your drone's bottom. It's easy to locate the battery underneath the propeller. Be careful not to loose screws during removal.
  3. All parts must be removed. Next, remove all parts from the drone's underside. Make sure they're not loose or damaged as they might fall off during cleaning.
  4. Use a cleaning solution. Now it is time to clean the drone. Before doing so, we recommend using a cleaning solution such as WD40. Spray the entire surface with the cleaner. Make sure you get in between every part. Leave it to dry completely before putting everything back together.
  5. Install the battery. Once you have cleaned the drone, make sure to put it back in its place. That way, you'll be able to test how well your drone works after being cleaned.
